Yes! We provide free estimates for all non-emergency services. For drain cleaning and camera inspections, we offer upfront flat-rate pricing so you know exactly what to expect. Emergency jobs have a service call fee that is applied to the total repair cost if you proceed with the work. The service call fee covers our arrival, diagnostic, and time spent determining the best solution for your issue.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). For larger sewer line projects, we also offer flexible payment options through our financing partners. Payment is due upon completion of work. We provide detailed invoices with clear breakdowns of all charges.
Absolutely. All our plumbers are fully licensed in Kentucky and carry full liability insurance. We also require ongoing training to ensure our team stays current with the latest plumbing codes and techniques. You can request to see any technician's license before work begins. Our team members are background-checked and drug-tested for your peace of mind.
Recurrent clogs are often caused by several factors: tree root intrusion in older clay pipes, pipe bellies (sections that have settled unevenly creating low spots), accumulated grease and soap scum buildup, damaged or cracked pipes that catch debris, or improperly installed pipes with insufficient slope. Our camera inspection can identify the exact cause. Once we know what's triggering the problem, we can recommend a permanent solution rather than a temporary fix.
We strongly recommend against using chemical drain cleaners. While they might seem like a quick fix, they can cause significant problems: the harsh chemicals can corrode your pipes over time, leading to leaks and costly repairs; they rarely solve the underlying issue; and they can be dangerous if mixed with other cleaners or if splashed on skin. For a clogged drain, professional snaking or hydro jetting is safer and more effective. For routine maintenance, enzymatic drain cleaners are a better alternative.
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water (up to 4000 PSI) to completely clean pipe walls, removing years of accumulated grease, scale, roots, and debris. It's more thorough than traditional snaking, which primarily creates a hole through a clog. Hydro jetting is ideal when you have recurrent clogs, want to prevent future problems, or have significant buildup. It's also the preferred method for tree root removal in sewer lines. The process is eco-friendly (uses only water) and won't damage properly functioning pipes.
Camera inspection involves inserting a waterproof, high-resolution camera on a flexible cable into your drain or sewer line. The camera sends live video to a monitor, allowing our technician to see the interior condition of your pipes in real-time. We can identify clogs, cracks, root intrusion, pipe bellies, collapsed sections, and other issues — all without digging. The process typically takes 30-60 minutes, and you'll be able to watch the inspection on our tablet. We can also record the video for your records if needed.
Several signs indicate potential sewer line issues: multiple drains clogging simultaneously (especially if they're on lower levels), gurgling sounds from drains or toilets, sewage odors coming from drains, water backing up in shower/tub when using washing machine, soggy spots in yard, and unexplained increase in pest activity. If you notice any of these signs, we recommend a camera inspection to identify the problem before it becomes a major emergency.
Yes! We offer preventive maintenance plans for both residential and commercial customers.
